Group Dock Dive Training

£25 per dog

1 hour with instruction. Small groups. All dogs onlead whilst waiting, taking turns on the dock. This is for sociable dogs only and of most benefit to those that already ‘jump’.

Please note Dock Diving is a sport and as with any sport injury can occur. We will not be responsible for any injury incurred whilst taking part. We also advise not to ‘jump’ any dog with ongoing orthopaedic problems. You should seek advice from your vet as to the suitability of each session.
Please respect our staff if they choose to rest your dog, and in rare cases, stop a session early. They are keeping an eye on heart/respiratory/colour and will not swim a dog to exhaustion.
If you previously swam at Beachin you will notice a few amendments to procedures. This is due to changes in insurance or obligation to our landlord, so please ensure you follow the new protocol. Failure to do so may result in us cancelling future swims.

Making the most of your session:

  • Arrive 10mins before your session and toilet your dog in the designated on-lead exercise area. Once your dog has been to the toilet make your way into reception.
  • Payment is cash or cheque on the day. Please pay at the start of your session.
  • All sessions are strictly 30mins, and we always run on time. If you are late you forfeit part of your session, and will still be expected to pay in full.
  • All dogs must now wear either a harness or jacket for their swim (this is for their safely and to ensure we have a point of contact should they get into difficulty). They are welcome to wear their own (fitting them at home and travelling in them may be easier), but we do have plenty in reception, to save session time fit one whilst you wait.
  • We recommend you bring treats and your dog's favourite toys to the session.
  • If you intend to swim with your dog we advise you to arrive in what you’re wearing into the water (long sleeved T-shirt/leggings or wetsuit recommended to help prevent scratches).
  • We will call you through at the start of your session.
  • All dogs must be kept onlead until they’re on the dock. If you have multiple dogs, or mobility issues please do let us know, we are always happy to help.
  • All dogs will now have a pre-swim rinse.
  • Post-swim rinses are recommended but not a necessity.  If however you want to shampoo your dog you must make us aware at the start of your session so we can allow time at the end.
  • At the end of your session you will be shown to the drying room where you can use our blaster (please bring your own towels if required).
  • We operate a strict one-way system.
  • Cancellations of less than 24hr will still be charged.

Finally, if you are happy with your experience tell social media and leave a Google review, if you are not please tell me so I can rectify!  Your feedback is appreciated.

Happy swimming!
